Do You Use This *Core* Networking Tactic? 🧐

This is one of my CORE networking strategies. πŸ˜‰

And it’s so easy!

A few months ago, I saw an interesting tweet regarding a TechCrunch article on blockchain.

So I employed one of my favorite long-term relationship-building tactics: πŸ‘‡

Piggybacking.

It’s pretty simple actually.

I just used the limited real estate of my tweet to support (and tag) others to add value & move the convo forward.

🚨 Remember: Piggybacking is all about crediting others, NOT stealing content.

I found value in the tweet & article, so I credited appropriately.

I tagged tech journalist Jacquelyn Melinek (the writer) and Chris Dixon of Andreessen Horowitz (the subject). ✍️

But I also tagged a few local ATL people & orgs who are doing amazing things here with blockchain, crypto, & Web3! πŸ”—

Marlon Williams β€” Atlanta Blockchain Center

Brian Zwerner β€” W3 Studio

If possible, always go further and tag the person through whom you found the content piece (in this case, my friend Alex Wilhelm).

There’s absolutely no downside to giving people credit and creating connections in your network. πŸš€

Building bridges can be staggeringly easy when you focus on the right things!
